| March 15 - Sales Closing for Spring Crops - corn and soybeans (last day to sign up, make changes, or cancel policies) |

April 11 - First day to plant corn |
April 26 - First day to plant soybeans |
April 30 - Last day to enter crop history for spring crops |
May 2008 Events |
| May 31 - Final day to plant corn |
June 2008 Events |
| June 15 - Final day to plant soybeans |
| June 25 - Final day to qualify for prevented planting (corn) |
July 2008 Events |
July 1 - Premium billing date (fall crops) |
July 10 - Final day to qualify for prevented planting (soybeans) |
July 15 - Acreage Reporting Deadline Spring Crops (FSA 578s & Maps are needed to verify numbers) |
August 2008 Events |
| August 1 - Hail premium due (in order to receive 3% discount) |
September 2008 Events |
| September 30 - Sales Closing on Fall Crops - wheat and forage (last day to sign up, make changes, or cancel policies) |
