LOVE, INC. BENEFITS FROM CONCERT

Bill Schoessling, director of Love, Inc. accepted a check in the amount of $11,000 from Chris Ponteri, First Banking Center Trust Officer and Love, Inc. Board Member. The money was raised through ticket sales from the "Up With People" concert that was sponsored by First Banking Center in February.

Schoessling thanked the community for their continued support of Love, Inc. and the outstanding turn out for the "Up With People" concert.

The money raised from the concert has been designated to benefit the Love, Inc. Food Pantry. Schoessling commented that with rising gas prices, the task of keeping the pantry stocked has been harder than usual for this time of year.

During their stay in Burlington, cast members also held a work day to benefit the Love, Inc. offices. Many of the performers tried their hand at painting or other odd jobs around the facility. Cast members also visited various Burlington businesses to promote the concert and raise awareness about Love, Inc.
